The iPhone rocks.
The iPhone rocks.
Regular visitors may know that my place of work is employed to make all the funnies for Scotland’s national drink IRN-BRU, being the ‘holiday season’ they asked us to create a maverick Christmas card for them. The task fell to the other junior team here Jim and Sam and they killed it with this dark, twisted card.
Top work.
Yowza! One of our favourite bands in the world The Maccabees are back with their new track ‘Pelican’. It’s been floating about the net for a while but there’s now an official video, here it is, be warned it’s trippy as fook!
Did you wake up this morning and think ‘It feels like the future today?”
Well there’s a good reason for it, because, Jetpacks are here Mu’fucka!
We’re in the middle of Certified shit storm here in Scotland. it’s a wee bit windy. #HopeForScotland
This is one of my favourite videos for a while! Love The XX and the more I hear from Jamie XX the more I feel like he’s such an integral part of what they are and there sound.
Our boys over at ThoughtCloud have been killing it yet again, they gave us the heads up on the new goodies currently sitting in their shop ready for the taking. Go check them out and pick up the above images, and many more striking designs, in a variety of different guises. From iPhone 4 covers to framed prints, these guys got it covered. Go check them out and pick up a piece.
Also, click their name at the top of the paragraph to read our interview with them earlier this year.
Do this.
We posted a week ago about Pharell travelling to Tokyo with Palladium footwear and it was well received so here is episode 2.
Pharrell continues his exploration of Tokyo with Trippple Nippples vocalist Yuka Uchida who takes him to the G-Cans Project, a hidden 6km underground cavern designed to fill up with water when the rivers flood during natural disasters.
This is a great video and I love that Jack Daniel’s chose these guys at YeeHaw for the reason that they believe in ‘doing things right not quick’, I’m reading the Steve Jobs book just now and it’s an ideal he also lived his life by, he would halt huge projects, such as the iPhone, at any point if he felt something wasn’t exactly right.
It’s an ideal that I strive to live by, it’s easy to just do enough, we all do it, but I get a horrible awkward feeling in my stomach when i know i’m lying to myself about doing it to the best of my abilities and it’s things like this that remind me of the appreciation of doing something well.
YOWZA! Our boy Full Fridge was featured over on DoobyBrain, delighted for him, this was his first official video and we loved it here at Danger so it’s awesome to see him get recognition from a site like dooby which is a firm favourite of ours.
We know there is loads to come still from Full Fridge which is really exciting, stay tuned. In the meantime you can watch the video in question here
Erm, this is awkward? Unless of course it is a rape van? Then it’s spot on!
