I’d quite like to see this documentary called The Vinyl Frontier about the world of vinyl toy designers and their collectors, as a *cough* collector *cough* myself (I have two dunny’s…..) It’s quite cool to finally see a documentary on the subject.

The thing about collecting things is that, what makes it off putting to some people is exactly what draws others in; the thought of having a complete collection. Some people never will, and the thought of that is too daunting to even start. But to others that’s the only motivation they need. I doubt i could ever become a legitimate collector of any item unless I was there from the start, and I can collect as they come out. Back tracking and sourcing older items does not appeal to me.
